MEET CURT FOX...THE FOUNDER OF S.K.U.L.L.E. AND THE REASON FOR WARRIOR GRADE.
S.K.U.L.L.E.
Curt was more than just a State Police officer; he was a dedicated workout enthusiast and a true believer in the power of sacrifice. From his early days in high school, where he immersed himself in the gym and Tae Kwon Do, to his later years in the Crossfit community, Curt lived and breathed a life of discipline and empowerment. In 2013, he channeled this passion into creating S.K.U.L.L.E., a brand born out of his desire to offer a clean, natural alternative in a world dominated by chemical-laden products. His first tagline, "Super Hygiene for Super Humans," reflected his commitment to helping others achieve their best selves. The name S.K.U.L.L.E. (Sacrifice Keeps Us Living Life Empowered) wasn’t just a brand; it was a mantra he lived by, and through his products, he built a brotherhood of customers who shared in his vision of strength, sacrifice, and community.
The Brotherhood
But Curt’s vision extended far beyond soap. As a first responder himself, Curt believed in the duty to serve, and this sense of responsibility shaped S.K.U.L.L.E. He saw his customers as a brotherhood—a community of warriors supporting warriors. Every order was personal to him, and he made sure it felt that way by including a handwritten note with each package. He created products not just for hygiene but for a cause. Through iconic creations like the F#CK CANCER Bar and the GIRL FIGHT Bar, Curt supported local charities, ensuring that S.K.U.L.L.E. was not just a business but a force for good. He was active on social media, organizing "warrior meetups" wherever he traveled, inviting fellow warriors to join him for a workout or a simple cup of coffee. Curt understood the importance of a support community, especially for those battling like he did, and through S.K.U.L.L.E., he built that community—one bar of soap at a time.
TR Hoodlums
Among the many memories we cherish, one stands out: the TR Hoodlums—a close-knit group of friends who navigated the adventures and shenanigans of high school together. Curt, in his Camaro, led many cruise nights through our small town, and no weekend was complete without a Blockbuster or Hastings movie night. Curt never missed a Bond film, often seeing them multiple times, and I’ll never forget the last one we saw together—Casino Royale—during our 10-year high school reunion. Curt had a unique talent too—he was the "Funyun whisperer," always managing to pick the freshest, fullest bag of Funyuns, a skill that never ceased to amaze us. These moments, filled with laughter and camaraderie, remind us of the incredible friend Curt was and the joy he brought to our lives.
